They make great food, always to order and have a very welcoming staff. They also have an app you can order from if you either want to pick it up or have it ready when you arrive. This location recently got a shake machine as well.

Really there is not much more I can say that hasn't already been said about this awesome burger heaven! I love love love the debate between Five Guys v. In N Out. I'm totally bias in that I grew up in SoCal and In N Out was as much a part of that experience as the beach and mountains. THAT being said, I think it is quite impossible to compare the two. In N Out is still today the pinnacle to which ALL FAST FOOD burgers aspire. Five Guys is more like the burger you would make yourself in your backyard. I'd give both five gazillion stars hands down. Like Carolyn H. says, since there IS NO In N Out here in CO then we have to TGFFG (thank goodness for Five Guys - lol). Soooo - this location never disappoints. As a meat-atarian I love that I can add a patty then ditch the bun and enjoy a tasty and delicious meat / cheese / toppings (grilled onions - yes please) symphony. I've obviously been here more than once and ALWAYS receive excellent food and service. Ya, ya, I know their fries are da' bomb. I don't eat them anymore though (no potatoes) but I can tell ya that you can request them 'extra crispy' and they'll fry em up a bit longer (they don't double fry which everyplace else does and that is the main complaint i hear about the fries). CALLING ALL YELPSTERS: If anyone has or knows of someone with a couple hundred grand laying around I'd love to be the manager of a South Springs location. WTF - why do I have to drive all the way to Woodmen and Academy for my fix??? Bottoms line - Five guys does it right and I've had em from DC, to FL, to CA !!!! "That is a tasty burger"

I went in with high expectations, and left disappointed. A lot of food sites ask for feedback on "Five Guys vs. In-n-Out", but I don't know why. You can't go into Five Guys with that expectation in mind. The two fast-food burgers aren't comparable. The grilled (sweet) onions aren't caramelized and clash with the sweetness of the ketchup. The burger was big but the meat was greasy. While the bag was full of fries, they were thick-cut and weren't crispy. At $9 and some change for a burger and fries, I wish I had gone to SmashBurger or LarkBurger. I ended giving 1/2 the fries to a co-worker and tossing like 1/3 of the burger. As soon as I finish writing this review, I'll need to wipe of my desk with a paper towel and some 409.

I tried 5 Guys for the first time and found the burger to be very good, as well as the huge amount of fries (though they were a bit greasy). The burger was huge, actually was a "double", let's just say I left extremely full. The atmosphere is nothing special, white walls with posters touting their greatness, wooden tables and chairs. In terms of price, maybe I'm hopelessly out of touch, but $10+ for a burger, fries and soda seemed a bit excessive. Not sure how soon I'll be going back, maybe if I'm starving and am looking to drop a fair piece of change.

love this place. I love burgers, this to me is good fast and fresh. The burgers are a great size and have great flavor. The fries are great as well and one regular order will be enough for 4 people. They also have vinegar which I love as I am from the UK and love that on our chips :) THis place gets packed at lunch so either get there around 11:30 or after 1!

I never thought that I would have a great time while here but all they did was disappointments. There's are a lot of good things that I always here from my friends when they come out of this place but I guess that is not true at all. They lack the manners, people always complains on how bad their food taste. I can say that the customers are giving them 2 star rating base on their face.

Five guys chain but we were one of 3 people in the restaurant and they took forever to give us just 1 burger.

When you're in need of greasy fast food that actually tastes good, Five Guys does the trick. The burgers are thin but manage to stay juicy, and I like that unlimited toppings are included, including grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. They actually have a great kosher hot dog, too, and decidedly un-kosher cheese dogs are pretty tasty as well. I'm partial to the Cajun fries and I'm glad you can now get a small portion, which is still pretty enormous. This location has friendly employees, has never seemed super crowded (although I tend to be there at off hours) and also has one of those fancy freestyle Coke machines. Five Guys wins no awards for ambiance or nutrition, but sometimes it hits the spot, and this location is no exception.

Five Guys is a great choice if you are ready for a big, tasty and quite greasy burger. Probably not the first place I'd go with that new co-worker or someone you are trying to impress. A tip for you as well: If there are two or more of you, order the regular fries to split. Their servings are huge and you won't be disappointed! I'd come back when in the mood for a good burger, but this probably won't make a full regular lunch spot rotation. This is mainly because eating here just makes me want to take a nap afterward.

Finally tried this place for the first time last night... It was good and there are a lot of different condiments you can add to your burger for "free" without the price going up (however, the burgers are expensive to begin with so I'm not sure I consider that 'free'). I totally got grilled mushrooms. yum. It was a solid, pretty good burger. Was it the best burger I ever had? no, but it was good. I waver between 3-4 stars honestly, I went with 3 because of the fries and the prices... the fries could have been really good, but they were a bit overcooked and WAYYYY overly salted, like my mouth started cringing from overloaded salt and I had to stop eating them and we ended up throwing a good quarter of them away. Also, it's pretty expensive right off the bat. The regular hamburger starts at 5.69 or something and goes up from there. The bf & I each got the cheeseburger which was 6.29 each... and it's automatically a double cheeseburger actually. so just FYI. The decor is all signs and reviews about how great their restaurant is... which I found kind of annoying. Like... if you're bragging that much about how wonderful and amazing your burgers are all over your restaurant they better be... and they weren't, they were just regular good. Many people have compared this place to In N' Out... and there is no comparison. In N' Out is hands down better... but this place is good for what it is... quick, tasty and filling burger and fries.

Eh ... it's okay. The service is super friendly and welcoming. Everything is made right in front of you, and there are sacks of potatoes in the dining room to prove how fresh the fries are. However, the burger and fries both lacked seasoning. I added quite a bit of salt because it didn't taste like much. It's better than many other fast food burger joints, but just not as stellar as I'd remembered in other Five Guys locations.

Dear Five Guys, I fell in love with you guys on the East Coast. When I moved to CO I thought I had lost you forever. I was ecstatic when I found you in CO. Now, I do have to drive 10-15 minutes to get to you, but you are worth the drive when a girl needs a burger in her life. You give me a burger that's cooked well and has yummy juices flowing freely down my arm as I devour each bite. I get so many topping options I often find myself saying I want everything (boy that's a lot). The fries top it all off, and the cajun are my favorite, salty and spicy and so delicious. You give me so many I wonder sometimes if I'll turn into a fry, so far - not yet. You gave me a good burger and fries and made my tummy happy as my craving for a burger slowly went away. It's not often I need Five Guys but when I do you are always there to feed me. Thank you, Jenn B. (Burger Craver)

I think reviews of Five Guys are a good indication that Yelp sometimes just works. Even those that rave about it tend to do so with a four star review. That just feels right. The food is fine, if uninspired. If you are one of those people that resents paying for food you could cook better at home, the burgers may not be your thing. If you're looking for a quick fix and have already forgotten your new years resolutions to eat healthier, good spot to go for exactly what you'd expect - burger, fries, grease, soda. Not to be overly partisan, but Juicy, which is essentially around the corner, is a better spot to my taste.

I understand that everyone has a different taste in hamburgers, but to me, Five Guys is one of the best. GREAT burgers, GREAT fries, and GREAT hot dogs. When you throw in the free peanuts and the new style coke machine that allows you to add flavor to virtually any soft drink that they carry Five Guys will always be one of my favorite hamburger joints.

    (5)
  • Joanie V.

It's just SO greasy. Not sure what the hype is all about, it was just not good and the free peanuts added nothing. The menu needs to be expanded to offer some things that are not greasy.

Some jerk at the office forced this on us during our lunch meeting. I never like chain restaurant burgers because they are always overcooked to kill bateria, along with all the juicy taste. I had the $5.99 burger with grilled mushroom, onion and pepper. Nothing special, just an overpriced tasteless burger. On the other hand, one of my colleagues who is a vegetarian had no choice but to order a veggie burger ($3.29). It came out to be like mine with the beef patties pulled out. According to the menu: "Veggie Sandwiches do not contain veggie burger patties.". They should rephrase it to "Veggie Sandwiches do not contain ANY patties" so not to give false hope that something is inserted in between two pieces of bread. There is an optional $1 for extra bacon on the veggie burger makes me wonder if that is veggie as well.

I just recently tried Five Guys B&F for the first time and am completely smitten. Literally the best burgers I have ever had to date. They are a little pricey, but for the freshness and deliciousness, you can't beat it. I am also not a fan of thier fries but have not tried all of thier options, or any of their hot dogs for that matter. I will say there are better all round burger joints, (the fries, the option for shakes, etc) but the better Burger goes to Five Guys Burgers!

    (4)
  • Phung L.

While the burgers are good, there's really not much to rave considering it's just another burger joint. There's no "wow" factor. On the other hand, I really don't care too much for their Cajun fries. It's rather way too salty for my liking.

  • Amy M.

I enjoy Five Guys burgers but had not had any since moving to Colorado. My burger and fries were just as tasty as I remember. Only downside the free peanuts looked a little moldy so I avoided.

This place just opened. I'm glad that there's one right by work. I love their HUGE order of fries. The regular ones feed both my boyfriend and I... mainly my boyfriend but yes I had enough too. I also ordered the "little" cheeseburger. It's not too small at all. It really filled me up. We also liked the cool modern soda/coke fountain drinks. There is so much to chose from. I ended choosing lemon/lime Seagram's soda. He tried Orange Coke, Vanilla Coke, and Orange Vanilla Soda. Fun! Most of the people there were guys. I glanced around at one point and noticed that there were only one other woman customers in there and I at one point... and like 20 dudes! Anyway, good burger just the way you order it, and fast service in awesome for a minimal lunch outing in DTC!

I love Five Guys and all the toppings you can get! Huge fan of sauteed onions and mushrooms. I feel it's a little overpriced, but it is a "premium" burger. GREAT fries and awesome customer service! Energetic staff and a fun, casual atmosphere. The only complaint I have is the bottom bun really tends to get soggy, so by the time you get home it's not nearly as good!

  • Jen W.

I don't eat burgers -repeat - I don't eat burgers but wanted to check it out and see what other options they has. The joint was jumping and was nice and clean with a red and white theme. There were bags of peanuts, potatoes and other items stacked and made me think I was in Costco for a second- maybe it was a delivery or maybe it is like that all the time? I also liked that they had a sign letting you know what potato was in use - cute. I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato and asked if they could add bacon - the cashier said that is a staff favorite. It was on a hamburger roll and was pretty tasty. The fries were yum with the perfect amount of crisp and grease - they were also piping hot and a huge order. After seeing the fun soda machine I was wishing I had ordered one too.

Since we don't have In N Out Burger in Denver, Five Guys is the very next best thing. It's simple to order and the burgers are tasty and juicy, and probably 4800 calories each. Maybe five guys are supposed to share one burger? It all makes sense now... The fries might be my favorite thing about this place...they actually taste like a fresh cut potato. So yummy. If you haven't been here, now is the time to go! Just take four other guys with you.

Way over-hyped for an overly greasy burger. Price isn't anything special either.

I don't get the hype over this place. Food was fine, service was good but I was told this was the "Willy Wonka of burger places" and "More toppings than you can imagine". Now, maybe I have an amazing imagination, but the toppings were not eye popping. You have the basic pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and they add in mushrooms which are not uncommon, jalapenos which are also not rare anymore (McDonald's and Wendy's have jalapenos and mushrooms lol), and then they have a few additional sauces with the standard mayo, mustard, and ketchup. No blue cheese crumbles, no sauteed garlic, no choice between bread and butter and dill pickles, how about spinach? Fried eggs? Nope. And then there's the cheese. I was expecting some cheese choices. Nope, no Swiss, no Havarti, no Provolone, nothing, you get one type of cheese. And it's not even good quality aged cheddar....it's freaking slices of velvetta!!!! That's not cheese, that's oil and byproducts extruded into a cheese like appearance. Willy Wonka should sue. The bacon they put on my burger was fried into oblivion, it actually SHATTERED into crumbly pieces and it started it's life almost paper thin to start with. Again, McDonald's has better bacon than this. Next up is the fact that every burger is destroyed by being cooked well done. Sure, it still had some juice in it, wasn't a total hockey puck, but what burger elite wants his burger to be grey? And I have to wonder the quality of meat used. Sure, it's 'fresh', so what? That just means it hasn't been frozen, not that it's high quality. Good quality meat does NOT like to be grilled to well done greyness, you do that with crappy meat to tenderize and hide. Good meat melts in your mouth when it's medium. If this was grass fed sirloin grind and I got it medium I would not have blinked at the price. But for average grade grey meat with velvetta, I think the price is a bit excessive. The food was tasty enough, but not mouth shatteringly different, burgers were small (I had the 'big" bacon cheeseburger) although the large fry was decent size and they fry in peanut oil not disgusting vegetable or canola. I spent $25 for my wife and I to eat (sharing a large fry) and I left hungry and wishing I had gone to Red Robin.

It's Five Guys It's delicious, fresh and puts me in fatty heaven. I only go twice a year since a meal is more than the recommended caloric intake for one day but it's damn worth it. Love that you can order online, this is huge seeing that DTC is such a mess during lunch time and sometimes I just need to get in and get out.

We've never been here before, but we were at the Cricket store next door and decided to try it. We were not impressed. Inside, there are positive reviews for Five Guys (from their other locations from 10 years ago) plastered all over the walls. The menu is a la carte, and everything is really expensive. Similar burger joints offer complete meals (burger, fries, drink) for the price of one Five Guys burger by itself. I got the Cheeseburger, the second cheapest burger on the menu, which was $6.69. I went to sit down and the tables were dirty, smeared Ketchup and crumbs on several of them. After finding a relatively clean table, we sat down. With the high prices and numerous glowing reviews surrounding me, my expectations were high. When my food arrived, I was disappointed. The bun was smashed flat and dripping wet. The meat patty itself tasted good, but the toppings were soaked and unappealing. I realized why the decor consists of favorable reviews: they're trying desperately to convince you that their overpriced food is good. It is not. Maybe 10 years ago it was, but not now. Ironically, many of the reviews I read off the restaurant's walls made mention of the low prices. One stated that all menu items were under $5. At this location nothing on the menu was under $5. One reviewer bought a $2 burger and was pleased. There is no burger on the menu for $2. Maybe in another time, in another place, Five Guys was a great burger joint, but not today in Greenwood Village. Just overpriced mush.

I'm gonna go out on a limb a give Five Guys a three star review. Not because there's anything wrong with the burger.. cause there's not. Five guys puts perfection between two pieces of hamburger bun. Everyone knows that. ...And I'm not giving them three stars because of the service. In fact, they have the best staff of any fast-food kinda place. The place is almost spotlessly clean, despite being crazy busy. I'm going to give Five Guys a three star review BECAUSE THEIR FRIES ******* SUCK. Everyone knows you have to cook french fries twice. Once at a lower temp, and once at a higher temp. That way you get a crispy outside and properly cooked inside. And I'm not just making that up. The proper method for frying potatoes was no doubt discovered by a French chemist/chef over 100 years ago. There is really no excuse to not know how to do it. Del Taco makes good fires, for petes sake. If you cook fries once at a low temp, you get soggy fries. If you cook them once at high temp, you get a crispy outside and a raw interior. If you cook them once at low temp, then fry them at high temp, you get good french fries. McDonald's and Burger King have this down to a science, yet not one of the five guys knows this. Five Guys cooks their fries once in low temperature oil, so you end up with undercooked, grease soaked fries. They give you a duffel bag full of fries with every order, but that hardly makes up for the unpalatable, greasy, undercooked floppy french fries you get. TL;DR Go to McDonalds drive thru to get fries, then go to Five Guys and get burgers.

I go to this place maybe once every week or two, and every time I get great service! A week ago it was a couple days before payday and I checked my card, had money and phoned in my order. When it came time to pay my card was declined. I had $7 cash in my pocket but my bill was 11 and change. The manager just rang it up. When I came back this week, he remembered after I reminded him about it and he waved off my offer to square accounts. He said "Just keep coming back." He even gave me a free drink. This place is BUSY but is always clean and very squared away. If you call an order in prepare to wait a bit anyway because they don't prepare the fries until you get there, but its worth it. Great place will be back again and again.

I've been to this 5 Guys location several times, and the food is consistently excellent for what it is (burgers and fries.) They really do an wonderful cheeseburger with plenty of cheese and all the toppings you'd want included in the base price. Their cheese burger is actually a double, unless you order their small. I always go "all the way" with their burger toppings, except for the mushrooms. I love mushrooms, by the way, but when I've had their burgers including mushrooms, it's just too messy to eat...which can be a good thing anyway; just a personal preference. Their fries are fresh-cut and fried to order, and very good. Their smaller order of fries is HUGE, though. One small order of their fries is easily enough for 2-3 persons; I'm not kidding. I wish they offered shakes/malts on their menu, but they do have sodas, bottled water and iced tea...and they do have two of those newer novelty soda machines with a touchscreen to select quite a number of brands and flavors. The staff is friendly and well-versed on making the food very consistent. The last time I was in, I mentioned while ordering that I shouldn't order any fries because I was alone and the small order was too much for one person to eat. My order taker (I think he's the manager) very generously offered to make a smaller portion just for me at no charge to have with my burger and drink...very nice guy! This is a five star review masquerading as a four star review, only because they should offer a couple of classics for a burger joint (onion rings and shakes/malts.) Not the fault of anyone at any individual location, just corporate policy. Really, go try this place if you're a burger fan...it's VERY GOOD.

Great food, but the prices... oh my. Three single burgers, one double, three regular drinks and one large fry to split between my family of four -- $33 plus change. Too expensive to be considered family-friendly. While the burger was cooked properly, the self-aggrandizing posters and articles plastered all over the restuarant are way overdone. Ok, I get it, people like your burgers. It's not a culinary miracle to flat-grill a fatty piece of meat and serve it with some greasy fries. Despite enjoying a good burger, I simply can't justify prices that I normally pay at a full-service restuarant. My first visit to Five Guys will be my last.

  • Kristina Y.

Five Guys is awesome! The burger is very good although I do wish they had a few more toppings, like different types of cheese and perhaps guac. The cajun fries are amazing and you get plenty to share! My husband & I each get a small burger and the fries. Drinks are a little on the pricey side, so I opt for water. Hands down the best burger place around!

  • Tina F.

Great cheeseburger and loved the fries (made from scratch)! The portions were huge if you're eating alone, however. The regular burger has two patties, so if you just want one patty, you need to get the small burger, and the small fry is easily enough for two people. But still very good. I'll definitely be back...with a friend.

After a great introductory experience, I just had to share the reasons why I loved this Five Guys visit. These burgers are fresh, juicy and made-to-order. Every burger or dog includes a choice of 15 different FREE toppings. Best of all? The touch screen soda machine. I love choices, and this hi-tech machine has over 100 combinations to mix-n-match. From Strawberry Sprite, to peach Mellow Yellow. Just pick your soda base, then choose from 5-7 flavors to add. Where else can you get a raspberry Coke? There are Powerade, Lemonade and Sparkling water options too! I rarely drink soda, but I this would tempt me any visit. The employees work hard, smile, and you can tell they really enjoy their job. A final bonus is the music. I always hear a song that I love, and stay just a little longer to hear whats next. Mostly classic rock n' roll.

I love 5 Guys! Their burgers are delicious and they give you a huge side of fries (when ordered). The nice thing is that their toppings are free. A little pricey but definitely worth it. The staff is timely and very nice. Plus, the soda machines are awesome! I would definitely recommend this place!

Honestly, i could have given this spot a 5, I had to search for a reason not to............ and I found it. The limited menu. First the good: I waited until I ate here a couple times to see if there was consistency. Well the answer is yes. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The normal burger comes with 2 patties, and I think the "little" burgers are single patty. Man, let me tell you...... the burger was seasoned well and juicy. They really put the right amount of cheese on it too. Of course you cant go wrong adding the bacon. As for the burger, I will say this: Five Guys beats Smash burger The "regular" fries are a pretty good size. Too many for most people to finish off if they are also having a burger. They have a Large size, but if you order that, hopefully you are sharing with 2 others. The fries come out HOT. I actually saw the guy put my fries in the bag, and then scoop up a few more fries and pour those right in the bag (to top it off), like I needed more. They have spicy fries too! All the food is made to order, so it is always fresh. Thats means you will have a short wait, but its never too long from the time you place your order. The soda machines are cool. They have tons of flavors that you can mix and match. I had grpae Hi-C once. Then I had Orange & Vanilla Coke another time. Now the negative: Ok, while they do have hot dogs, there are other things that I didnt find. There are not onion rings. A place like this seems like they would have great onion rings, but they dont. No milkshakes...... I love a good milkshake. There is also no ranch dressing for those of us who like to dip our fries. With that said, the place IS called Five Guys Burgers & Fries....... thats all they promise and they do it very well. LOL My bacon cheeseburger, fries & drink did cost me about $12. Kinda pricey. So it it is not a place to bring a family unless you got money to blow. When with kids, go to BK or Mickey D's because its cheaper and kids can not appreciate the quality of this place. Its wasted on them. But both times I have been there, I could not finish my meal unless I really tried to force feed myself. So you wont be mad about dropping the cash. All in all.......... Its my favorite place in the area to get a burger & fries.

The BF is a religious consumer of Five Guys burgers. I usually pop into Garbanzo's next door when he is getting his fix. Then one day I decided to join him and boy am I glad I did. I'll admit it here and now to all of you fellow Yelpers...I'm not a huge fan of Smashburger. I've been to a few different locations and have had nothing but issues each time. However, this is not Five Guys fault so I couldn't take it out on them anymore. I know, I know how can I claim to not be a burger person just because of a couple bad experiences with other burger joints?! Well let's just say I'm so glad I gave up those silly grudges as the food was pretty damn awesome! The burgers were fresh, made to order with lots of choices of free toppings. Then came the fries - YUMMY! We asked them to make them extra crispy and I wouldn't want it any other way. For me the fries are share size - for the BF yeah not so much. I have to agree the drink selection is also top notch. LOTS of reasons to come back again and again!

I could eat at Five Guys at least a few times a week. I love this place! The staff at this location is nice and there's lots of room to eat with a few tables outside, too.
